Boise, Idaho based Treasure Valley Solar LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concern (SDVOSBC) founded in July of 2008 to provision cost-effective renewable energy and technology solutions for government, commercial and residential. Treasure Valley Solar LLC is licensed in the State of Idaho as a general contractor and licensed by the Idaho Division of Building Safety as a Public Works contractor. We pride ourselves on our ability to generate creative solutions to customer challenges that exceed expectations and come in on time and on budget.

Wayne Whitt - President, CEO

Wayne is the President and CEO for Treasure Valley Solar LLC, an earthsponse™ Elite Dealer and certified installer of Kyocera MyGen™ and EPV solar electricity solutions and EnerWorks solar hot water solutions located in Boise, Idaho. Wayne is an experienced executive serving as the President of TFDSFU, LLC, a technology solutions company, since 2001. Additionally, Wayne worked to launch Idaho Space Materials, Inc. in 2005, to advance the production of Single Wall Carbon Nanotubes (SWCNTs) and improve the integration of CNTs into renewable energy and other applications. Wayne has an MBA and is working to complete the NABCEP solar certifications and a Masters of Space Studies. Wayne worked from 1996 to 1999 in the semiconductor industry with an emphasis on ion implantation techniques for controlling the electrical characteristics of polycrystalline silicon and monocrystalline silicon critical to the development of solar energy conversion products. Prior to working in the semiconductor industry, Wayne was a non commissioned officer of the U.S. armed forces leading teams in the daily operations of satellite communications command and control. Wayne is interested in renewable energy solutions and the development of advanced materials that can help sustain life on Earth and enhance the exploration of space.

Bruce Saunders - Vice President

Bruce founded Treasure Valley Solar with the idea of putting his entrepreneurial spirit to work in an industry that he believes strongly in. Bruce is the Director of Operations for Treasure Valley Solar LLC, an earthsponse™ Elite Dealer and certified installer of Kyocera MyGen™ and EPV solar electricity solutions and EnerWorks solar hot water solutions. Bruce received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Boise State University in 1997 as well as a Minor of Arts in Philosophy from Boise State University in 1997. While finishing up school, and for several years after Bruce worked in the power industry writing software for a company making automatic meter reading equipment. Bruce has worked in the computer industry since 1994 and has extensive knowledge of database programming and application architecture and development. Bruce is working towards NABCEP certification the old fashioned way - by doing installs.
