Founded in 2008, Boise, Idaho based Treasure Valley Solar, an Elite Earthsponse™ dealer, is on a mission to sell, install and maintain EnerWorks solar hot water, Kyocera's MyGen solar electric, EPV thin film solar electric, and custom engineered solar electric solutions to help provision power in remote locations, mitigate the growing cost of power, free the United States from foreign oil dependencies and reduce carbon emissions for residences, businesses, NGOs and government.

Working with our strategic partners ZenWorks, Inc. and as an affiliate partner of (((208))) Wireless Business Integration, Treasure Valley Solar offers affordable mobile and remote solar solutions that cleanly & reliably power crucial wireless data & communication networks reducing fuel costs and carbon emissions for government, construction, transportation & distribution, field services & delivery and GSI/GPS.

Our People

Bruce Saunders

Bruce founded Treasure Valley Solar with the idea of putting his entrepreneurial spirit to work in an industry that he believes strongly in. Bruce is the Director of Operations for Treasure Valley Solar LLC, an earthsponse™ Elite Dealer and certified installer of Kyocera MyGen™ and EPV solar electricity solutions and EnerWorks solar hot water solutions. Bruce received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Boise State University in 1997 as well as a Minor of Arts in Philosophy from Boise State University in 1997. While finishing up school, and for several years after Bruce worked in the power industry writing software for a company making automatic meter reading equipment. Bruce has worked in the computer industry since 1994 and has extensive knowledge of database programming and application architecture and development. Bruce is working towards NABCEP certification the old fashioned way - by doing installs.

Wayne Whitt

Wayne Whitt

Wayne is the Director of Customer Solutions for Treasure Valley Solar LLC, an earthsponse™ Elite Dealer and certified installer of Kyocera MyGen™ and EPV solar electricity solutions and EnerWorks solar hot water solutions located in Boise, Idaho. Wayne is an experienced executive serving as the President of TFDSFU, LLC, a technology solutions company, since 2001. Additionally, Wayne worked to launch Idaho Space Materials, Inc. in 2005, to advance the production of Single Wall Carbon Nanotubes (SWCNTs) and improve the integration of CNTs into renewable energy and other applications. Wayne has an MBA and is working to complete the NABCEP solar certifications and a Masters of Space Studies. Wayne worked from 1996 to 1999 in the semiconductor industry with an emphasis on ion implantation techniques for controlling the electrical characteristics of polycrystalline silicon and monocrystalline silicon critical to the development of solar energy conversion products. Prior to working in the semiconductor industry, Wayne was a non commissioned officer of the U.S. armed forces leading teams in the daily operations of satellite communications command and control. Wayne is interested in renewable energy solutions and the development of advanced materials that can help sustain life on Earth and enhance the exploration of space.

Raine Saunders

Raine Saunders

Raine is the Office Manager for Treasure Valley Solar LLC. She earned a B.A. from Boise State University in Communication (1996), and has worked in the following fields: technical writing, web design, content and copy writing for Agriculture Society (.com) and Nightspun (.net), music and event promotion, research and health writing, nutritional and sustainable education and awareness. Raine worked at the Treasure Valley Downtown YMCA for three years and taught a nutrition class for children at the YMCA. She manages and writes content for Agriculture Society, a resource for sustainable living, health through whole and traditional foods, and alternatives in medicine.
